      Eastern Shore Property Clean Out has a unique story.

Its not just a business, it's a family.

ESPCO was born soon after a tragic loss of a loved one. The owners Jenny and Justin Grimes lost their father in-law and father after the first year he had moved into assisted living. The immediate family consisted of four siblings who had to come together and clean out “dad's” home. They soon realized how quickly the world expects you to get things in order all during a time when you're still trying to cope with the tragedy of losing a loved one.

How is one to grieve when the world doesn't stop? 

             This family was not prepared for this loss which made it all that much harder. That's when Jenny Grimes, (Justin's wife) stepped up and helped. She assisted in helping his sisters go through their fathers belongings, helping to decide what to keep and what could be sold/donated. 

As you sit there going through a loved one's belongings, memories unfold and hours turn into days and that's when ESPCO was born.

Jenny sold what she could and gave the proceeds back to the family, donating the necessary essentials left behind. Making the best of what she could in this situation, giving back to many people in need throughout the community and that in itself was rewarding. 

Although they would love for this company to be non-profit and help people in situations like their own, they have a family of their own to support. ESPCO goes above and beyond and it shows that this company came from the heart. 

After starting the business and taking on their first few clients, ESPCO learned a lot about the needs of people. They broadened their horizons offering a variety of services.  Including assistance in downsizing, selling and buying properties, by liquidating used goods, whether it's through consignment, donations or re-purposing the items. Other services include but are not limited to, packing items to move, junk removal, small demolition, appliance removal and more...

The company is also devoted to recycling, re-purposing and up-cycling. We’ve made it our obligation to keep as much out of the landfill as possible!

Did you know that; Based on data collected by Waste Business Journal, as of 2021 only 15 years of landfill capacity remains!
